Resumen:
In image processing, the color represents a powerful feature that simplify the identification of an object and its segmentation. Image segmentation is extremely important in clinical diagnostic assistance, helping the detection and the monitoring of the evolution of some diseases. Segmentation and classification of blood cells allows the diagnosis of different important pathologies. In this work, we propose a new automatic method for leukocytes segmentation by the definition of a morphologicalreconstruction operator defined in a diffuse color space.
