In this bizarre pandemic context, departing from the readings of three papers by Mbembe (1995), Viveros-Vigoya (2019) and Fassin (2020), and inspired the resonances between these and my concerns around a history of the present from the South, in the following paragraphs I intend to present some preliminary notes to think about the ways in which ?crises? have configured (and configure) certain ways of understanding historical time and certain ways of mapping geopolitical space.SIN PAPER.
