EuroGIOPS - QCT & HRQCT Assessment:Cancellous BMD changes:Primary endpoint variable shows significantly larger improvement in QCT BMD L1-3 for TPTD compared to RIS.QCT and HRQCT based results are very similar but due to lower power HRQCT changes are not quite significant.Cortical BMD changes are difficult in interpretation due to partial volume effects but with similar significant increases from baseline for TPTD and RIS.BV/TV changes show significant increase from baseline for TPTD onlyTb.Sp changes show significant reduction versus baseline for TPTD onlyFurther analyses and software development:Lower threshold will increase changes in BV/TV and may increase difference between TPTD and RIS.Cross-calibration reduces variability within groups and may improve power to detect effects.
