Resumen:
“The very nature of the urban must be re-imagined and re-mapped”, pointd out Neil Brenner (2015). This statement has two impications: On the one hand, there is a critique of the self-evident (unproblematic) assumption of "the city" in urban studies: large, dense, self-contained, bounded, nodal socio-spatial units. Through what categories, methods and cartographies should urban life be understood? (Brenner, 2015). On the other hand, there is a persistence of the idea of delimited and distinctive cities for the inhabitants and the displacement from the city to global urbanization has an effect of recentering the global north in the analysis of the urban, which obscures differences and heterogeneities (Schindler, 2017). The proposal of my presentation is to understand the city and the urban from the ways of dwelling in the context of a pandemic
