Resumen:
This paper is about the acoustic problems in educational spaces in the State of San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentine. To do so, it was studied the Salobreña School in the city of Yerba Buena. The objectives of this paper are: 1) to identify, to analyze and to evaluate the acoustic problems in classrooms which generate conflicts in the teaching-learning process; 2) to generate awareness in the school community about the noise effects. A quantitative and qualitative methodical combination was used which are part of the ?Participatory action research?. The methodological tools used and developed activities were: 1) for the analysis, urban implantation architectural surveys were made about the, the building design and its materials; 2) About the subjective evaluation, polls in the school population were made; 3) For the objective evaluation, the reverberation time was measured. It was determined: . That both, external and internal noise and reverberation have a negative impact in the classroom user?s acoustic comfort and in the teaching-learning process. . The need of a) to communicate and generate awareness in acoustic contamination subjects and it effects in people health; b) to continue generate this kind of studies in both, educational population as in society.
