Resumen:
Parkinson?s Disease (PD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterized by the selective death of dopaminergic neurons of Substantia nigra (SN). The presence of the Angiotensin II (Ang II) receptors has been described in SN. Overstimulation of AT1 receptors could produce oxidative stress, whichaffect the sensitive area of the SN. We used an experimental rat rotenone model, which it was assayed previously by our group, to evaluate changes in the Ang II receptor´s localization in SN.
