Resumen:
Asignificant proportion of Borges´ work was done in collaboration with others.Among these varied projects, his writing partnership with Bioy Casares standsout. These friends and authors established one of the most fruitful andlong-lasting working relationships in Argentine literature. Together, theymoulded a discourse that is not inferior to the work each publishedindividually, without resembling either´s. Bioy´s Borges (Buenos Aires, Destino, 2006),a diary of their conversations over nearly 50 years, paints a vivid portrait oftheir encounters as a laboratory of literary criticism, their distinctive brandof humour always to the fore in their impressions and reflections. Indeed, theygelled to such a degree that in the various masks they adopted, H. BustosDomecq, B. Suarez Lynch, or just ´Borges and Bioy Casares´, who came up withwhich line or idea loses all importance. Rather, traditional notions ofauthorship dissolve and a unique third voice emerges
