Resumen:
The art state about the studies of the First Americans at North Patagonian plateaux was nule before our investigations, which began in 2002. All archaeological information generated on this region confirmed that the area was been populated during late Holocene (after 3 ka B.P.). Absence of earlier human occupations was interpretated as very late peopling in this plateaux. Never was imaginated by the archaeologists that this ?absence of evidence? could be related to research bias. The aims of present article is show new evidence which supports hypothesis about a peopling during Late Pleistocene/Early Holocene transition at North Patagonia plateaux. Findings of fish tail projectile points, and a lot of artifacts belonging to ?paleoindian toolkit? in confident archaeological contexts at eco-refugiums of Somuncurá plateaux allow as formulate not only an early peopling highlands of Northern of Patagonia, but also heterogeneous use of landscape since its colonization
