Genesis and exploration potential of epithermal deposits from the Deseado Massif, Argentinean Patagonia

The Deseado Massif epithermal deposits are spatially, temporally and genetically related to theJurassic volcanic rocks of the Bahia Laura Group and Rajo Pohre Formation that compose n voluminous calcalkaline bimodal magmatic event. The exploration potential of the Deseado Massif is presented considering a regional analysis of the shallow features and hosl locks of the epithermal occurrences. Exploration can be oriented to find bonanzas, especially in the central-eastern region and "hot spring" type deposits in the western Deseado Massif.
