Resumen:
This article describes a new method by which nonprofessionalhealth workers can monitor fetal growth. Its ultimate goal is toenhance prenatal health coverage in rural areas-by increasingthe effectiveness of empirical health workers, identzfyingwomen with abnormal pregnancies, and enabling such womento receive appropriate prenatal care.
