Resumen:
The derivative nonlinear Schrodinger equation is solved by application of the Ablowitz-Ladik scheme to an equivalent equation. The variations of the results due to modifications in the spatial grid size and time step are analyzed. The scheme maintains the main properties of the original equation and allows the use of rather large time steps.
