Se ha editado junto con colegas pertenecientes al CEESP de diversas universidades un número especial de Policy Matters dedicado a la memoria de Elinor Ostrom. Se han evaluado y editado 10 trabajos de reconocidos académicos a nivel internacional que han recibido importantes aportes teóricos del trabajo de Ostrom. Los autores incluyen a Arun Agrawal, Jesse Ribot, Leticia Merino, Fikret Berkes, entre otros. Este artículo es la introducción del Comité Editorial al número especial de la revista. The Commission on Environmental, Economic and Social Policy (CEESP) of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) devoted an entire issue of its flagship Policy Matters journal to the outreach and impact of Dr. Elinor Ostrom?s groundbreaking research on common property theory. This edition would provide commentaries building on Dr. Ostrom?s analysis and, where possible, provide case studies demonstrating the practical application of her theoretical contributions.
