The emergence of the State in Egypt constitues a process of change of a deep magnitude. Such an event affect all spheres of social life. In the religious sphere, with the advent of the State, several changes started to take place in the diffusion of deities and cults as well as in the performance of ritual practices. Basically, the result was not the formulation of a new rigid and excluent State religion but the incorporation of the State as the privileged participant of the Egyptian religious world.
