Resumen:
The 174 polyporoid and corticioid species of fungi described by C. Spegazzini were reevaluated. The type specimens for1 49 namesw erel ocated in the Instituto de BotinicaC arlos Spegazzini (La Plata, Argentina). Of these, 21 are accepted as valid, 104 are synonyms, 15 types ares terilaen d indeterminable, 5 aren ot Basidiomycetes, 2 are tremellaceous fungi ofu ncertain position, 1 is alliedt o StereumP ers. and 1 is alliedt o PhlebiaF r. Seven newc ombinationasr e proposedF: laviporussu bhydrophilus, Gram- mothelopsis puiggarii, Hypochniciellum iaganicum, Phanerochaete incrustans, Phellinus apiahynus, Phlebia argentina and Trametes versicolor f. antarctica.
