Resumen:
New species of Wrightoporia Pouz. from Africa and Asia have features that overlap the limits of Amylonotus Ryv. We found dextrinoidicity, wall coloration of the skeletal hyphae, and the general morphology of the fruit bodies to be variable features in both genera. Gloeopleurous hyphae and gloeocystidia or pseudocystidia occur in all species of these genera so far studied. The synonymy of Amylonotus with Wrightoporia is proposed. The following new taxa are described: Wrightoporia dimidiata David & Rajch., W. gillesii David & Rajch., and W. ramosa David & Rajch. Two new combinations are proposed: W. flava (Ryv.) David & Rajch. and W. ochrocrocea (Henn. & Nyman) David & Rajch.; W. pouzarii David & Rajch. is a new name for A. africanus Ryv. Cultural characters of W. flava (Ryv.) David & Rajch., W. gillesii David & Rajch., and W. tropicalis (Cke.) Ryv. are described. The position of W. cylindrospora Ryv. and W. tropicalis (Cke.) Ryv. in the context of the genus and the relationships of Amylosporus Ryv., Heterobasidion Bref., and Wrightoporia Pouz. are discussed. Rigidoporopsis Johans. & Ryv. is considered a synonym of Amylosporus Ryv.
