Resumen:
Noteson NewZealandPolyporaceae.1. OnTyromycescatervatusandPoria hyalina. Rigidoporusconcrescens(Mont.) Rajchenb. comb. nov. isthecorrect nameforcollectionsfiled as Tyromycesca¬ tervatus(Berk.) G. H. Cunn.atthe DSIR Plant Protection Herbarium, Auckland, New Zealand (PDD) andfor specimensdescribed as Rigidoporus umbonatipesRajchenb.from subtropical Argentina. The holotype and an Isotype collection of Polyporus catervatus Berk, are conspeclfic with type material of Polyporus exiguis Col. (= Tyromyces exiguis (Col.) G. H. Cunn.) and, nomenclaturally, P. catervatus has priority. Polyporus catervatusshould be included in the genus Postia Karst, but its affinities with Postia floríformis (Quél.) Jül. and Postia dissecta (Lév.) Rajchenb. remain unclear. CeriporiopsisloweiRajchenb. isthe correct namefor specimens filed as Poria hyalina (Berk.) Cke. at PDD. The type of Polyporus hyallnus Berk, is a badly preserved material with uncertain identity. Nevertheless, the presence of skeletal hyphae rules out any possibilityof merging thisspecieswith C. lowei.
