Resumen:
Many authors have studied the ?anti- British? feelings of the Revisionist School of History, but only a few have studied its criticism of the American imperialism. In this paper we will analyze the anti imperialistic postures ?especially anti American- of Manuel Gálvez, the Irazusta brothers and Raúl Scalabrini Ortiz, taking into consideration their intellectual backgrounds and the evolution of anti imperialistic ideas from the late XIX century up to the 1950s. Revisionism?s critique was subject to the idea of cultural nation each author had, reason enough for us to examine their ideas regarding Pan Americanism, Latin Americanism and Hispanic Americanism. We will also propose the idea that the anti-British feelings became more important after the crisis of 1930, moment in which the relationship between Argentina and foreign countries started to be seen in a rather negative way.
