Resumen:
ABSTRACT. Migoidea from Chile, new or poorly known (Araneae:Mygalomorphae). A new species, Plesiolena jorgelina, from Chile (IV Región,Parque Nacional Fray Jorge) is described based on females. The female ofPlesiolena bonneti (Zapfe) is described and illustrated for the first time; the femalepreviously assigned to this species actually belongs to a different species,tentatively placed in the genus Missulena and named M. tussulena sp. n. Missu/ena .tussu/ena is the only species of Miss11/ena described from South America. The firstfemale synapomorphy (spermathecae with long ducts) for the genus Missulenais proposed. The male of Calathotarsus pihuychen Goloboff is described for thefirst time.
