Loganograptus logani (HALL) IN THE PREOORDILLEl1AOF SAN JUA1' ANDLA Rro-JA. - The occurrence of Loganograptus logani (Hall) in the lower levels of the Los Azulesand Gualcamayo Formations (San Juan and La Rioja Provinces) is here mentioned. Its morphologicalfeatures are also described. On the basis of the whole graptolitic association(Pa raglossograptus ether idgei (Harrís ), Glypto: l,raptus austrodenta tus Harris & Kezle, Zygugraptussp., and others), the fossil-bearing beds are assigned to the Middle Ordovician(Llanvirn) .
