The dismutation of electrochemically generated soluble lithiumsuperoxide with the formation of a lithium peroxide depositon Au has been studied by addition of lithium ions and followingthe mass uptake detected by the electrochemical quartzcrystal microbalance at the open-circuit potential and the surfacemorphology evolution by using atomic force microscopy.
