Resumen:
We present Monte Carlo simulations in a generalized uniformly frustrated triangular-lattice model of XYspins. The frustration is varied by changing the relative strength, r/, of one of the bonds of the unit cell.We found that the ground state transforms from ferromagnetic to antiferromagnetic along the variable bonddirection for a critical value of 1/= -1/V~. Simultaneously, the phase transition toward the paramagneticstate at high temperatures changes from purely Kosterlitz-Thouless like to one of mixed character.
