Resumen:
A new phase was observed in the MgNiSn system by mctallographic examination, X-ray diffraction and M6ssbauer spectroscopy. Quantitative analysis with electron probe microanalysis showed that its composition was Mg75Nil5Sn10. The solubility of Sn in Mg2Ni was also determined.
