Resumen:
The compartmental model is a basic toolfor studying signal propagation in neurons; if themodel parameters are adequately redefined, it can alsobe helpful in the study of electrical or fluid transport inother biological systems. Here we show that the inputresistance in different networks that simulate the morphologyof neurons is the result of the interplay betweenthe relevant conductances, neuron morphology, and neuron size. The results suggest that neurons maygrow in such a way that facilitates the current flow to thesynapses, concurrently minimizing power consumption
