Resumen:
Complete 13C NMR spectral assignments of 28 aromatic methoxymethyl ethers bearing different substituents and substitution patterns were made. While meta-, para- or mono-ortho-substitution did not significantly affect the 13C NMR resonances of the carbon atoms ol thc mcthoxymcthyl group, di-ortho-substitut1on produced the deshielding ol both carbons. This effect was more pronounced on the methylene carbon atom.
