Resumen:
Chiral oxazaborolidines became a useful tool for synthetic chemists in
the enantioselective
reduction of prochiral ketones, imines and oximes. The the synthesis of
the NCA of proline as key intermediate in the preparation of 5, using triphosgene, was explored.
