Resumen:
Surface lines of an iron sample were studied by Unidirectional Laser Oblique Illumination. These lines were formed after etching the sample, during a short time, with Klemm reagent. The maximum of the I(j) curve permits to find the predominant direction of the surface lines, even if these are difficult to see with Bright Field Illumination. Their direction is close to pole [001] for planes close to (001) or (101). The ULOI technique has proved to be a fast and simple way of detecting crystallographic directions.
