Resumen:
We apply the Batalin-Vilkovisky lagrangian method to quantize the chiral Schwinger model showing that the first quantum contribution, needed to fulfil the master equation, contains a minimal term that compensates the non-gauge invariance of the fermionic measure, restoring the gauge independence of the vacuum functional
