Resumen:
Antimicrobial resistance is one of the most important health problems in the world.Staphylococcus aureus is one of the major opportunistic human pathogens. Theincreasing number of multidrug resistant strains (MDR), like methicillin (met) andvancomycin (van) resistance, generates significant efforts to discover newantibiotics. Our aim was to investigate bioactive compounds from Rosmarinusofficinalis (rosemary) with antimicrobial activity per se, or as modulators of bacterialresistance, in vitro against strains of S. aureus resistant, met and van resistant, isolated from pediatric patients
