Resumen:
For the development of communication systems thatintend to be based on the cognitive radio paradigm, it is of vitalimportance to obtain the characteristics of the communicationchannel in a simple and fast way. This article presents a simplemethod for estimating the parameters of the probability densityfunction, corresponding to Middletons Class A noise.The method is presented, justified and compared with differentknown estimators in terms of precision and simplicity, resultingin a notable advantage in its general performance and its possibleimplementation.
