Resumen:
SCINAX NASICUS (Lesser snouted tree frog). ARGENTINA: BUENOS AIRES: LA PLATA county: Cattle farming pasture (34º 59’ 05’’ S; 57º 51’ 21’’ W), 8 January 2006. G. S. Natale. Museo de La Plata (MLP 3504, 3505, 3507, two adult males and one female). ARGENTINA: BUENOS AIRES: ARRECIFES county: soy culture field (34º 6’ 46’’ S; 60º 8’ 20’’ W), 8 January 2003. G. S. Natale. Museo de La Plata (MLP 3506). ARGENTINA: BUENOS AIRES: RAMALLO county: Paraná river floodplain (33º 31’ 16’’ S; 59º 55’ 35’’ W), 29 October 2003. Raúl Herrera. Museo de La Plata (MLP 3502). All specimens were verified by Leandro Alcalde. The distribution of this species in Buenos Aires province is poorly known. The first record for Scinax nasicus in Buenos Aires province was made by Faivovich, 1994 (Geographic distribution. Scinax nasicus. Herpetol. Rev. 25 (2): 75), for the locality Baradero, Buenos Aires (33º 48’ S; 59º 30’ W) in association with the Paraná river floodplain. The present contribution adds three new records: the first one, on the coast of Paraná river (RAMALLO). The second one (ARRECIFES) extends the species’ distribution 68 km. to the west, out of the coastal zone proposed as a faunal filter by Gallardo (Gallardo J.M: 1974. Edit. Univ. Eudeba/Lectores. 231 pp.). Lastly, the third one (LA PLATA), represents the southernmost record for Scinax nasicus and extends the range of the species 200 km. due southeast from BARADERO.
