Resumen:
We report a dopamine electrochemical sensorbased on the modification of glassy carbon electrodes(GCE) with polylysine-functionalized single-wall carbonnanotubes (SWCNT-PLys). The resulting electrodes(GCE/SWCNT-PLys) showed a significant improvementin the electrooxidation of dopamine with drastic decreasein the peak potentials separation and important enhancementin the associated currents. Dopamine was detectedby differential pulse voltammetry-adsorptive strippingwith medium exchange at nanomolar levels even in thepresence of high excess of ascorbic and uric acids. Thesensor was successfully used for the quantification of dopaminein urine samples enriched with the neurotransmitter.
