Resumen:
Species composition changes drastícally as cultivated pastures in the lower pampas age. The objective of this paper was to test the hypothesis that changes in species composition would determine changes in above-ground net primary productivity (ANPP). Biomass and net aerial primaiy productivity dynamics of three cultivated pastures which were, 2, 5 and 13 years old were compared.
