Resumen:
Groundwater resources have a great potential tosatisfy human needs. In each case of study, volumes and waterquality are essential aspects to be evaluated. The objective of thiswork is to assess the hydrogeological and geochemical aspects ofthe unconfined aquifer of the Campus of the National Universityof Rio Cuarto and its surroundings to determine groundwaterreserves and the groundwater quality for irrigation, cattle andhuman consumption. The results show that there is an importantgeochemical homogeneity in the studied area and all the watersamples are fresh (
