Resumen:
The hydrogen terminal solid solubility (TSS) in α Zr-2.5Nb, has beenstudied form experiments. The samples were aged at 470 ◦ C for 10hs, followed by a hydrogen gaseous charge plus an homogenizationtreatment in order of distributing the hydrogen throughout thesample?s volume. The microstructure is characterized by OpticalMicroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy, and X-Rays. DifferentialScanning Calorimetry (DSC) are carried out to determine the hydridesdissolution and precipitation temperatures from which the hydrogenTSS curves are obtained. Our results reveal that the thermaltreatment employed has not significantly affected the microstructurecompared to treatments at 380 ◦ C of other authors; however, thehydrogen TSS is higher.p { margin-bottom: 0.25cm; line-height: 115%; background: transparent }
