Resumen:
A registry on Chagas disease should be seen as a tool for public health and will need to besustained for a long-time (10 to 20 years). It should, therefore, command a consortium offunding institutions to ensure sustainable commitment. It comprises an essential piece of thegoals and targets of the London Declaration for NTDs and, more recently, manifested by theresearch community through the Santa Cruz Letter and PAHO summit.
