Resumen:
The aim of this work was to study the radioluminescence (RL) and optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) properties of CaF2:Ce,Dy. For this purpose, samples of CaF2:0.4 mol% Ce,0.4 mol% Dy in pellet form were used. Experimental results have shown that the inclusion of Ce and Dy in this phosphor provides a good OSL sensitivity in a wide dose range from 0.022 up to 126 Gy. Besides, a minimum detectable dose of 0.01 Gy and an OSL fading of approximately 30 % after 20 hours of storage in darkness were found. Finally, the RL and OSL signals of CaF2:Ce,Dy are compared with those of the commercial TLD-200 (CaF2:Dy) dosimeter.
