Resumen:
Analytical experiment has been conducted on soil samples to confirm the sufficient and detectable level of the 137Cs to be used as soil redistribution tracer for agro-environmental purpose [1]. The study site investigated is Forets des Pins (18°19’41.63” N and 71°47’12.16” W), a pine forest, located at the border of the Dominican Republic. The altitude is around 1500 meters above sea level and the yearly rainfall is about 1000 mm. The average temperature is 15°C in December to April and a few degrees higher from May to September.
