Resumen:
The trophic activity during a whole day every three hours in Macrobrachium borellii (Nobili 1896) was determined. The variations of the average vacuity coefficient are related with daily rhythm, prawn size and sex. stoach were taken off and examined regularly every three hours. Stomach fullness was greater during night with peaks of fullness at 5 h AM and 8 h AM for females and males respectively. The least trophic activity occurred at 5 h PM.
