Resumen:
Heterojunctions formed by porous silicon and transparent conductive oxide, such as SnO2 , ZnO, and TiO2 has been of great interest in recent years. The interest lies in a wide range of properties of these junctions such as light emission and the implicit potential for the development of structures with particular sensing properties. The aggregates used in these oxides tend to act as dopant. Typical dopants in the case of SnO2 may be F, Cl or Sb. The inclusion of these dopants in the oxides structures alters the original properties, in particular those related with the electronic transport. In this work we present the electrical characterization of a semiconductor Porous Silicon/Transparent Conductor Oxide (PS/TCO) junction obtained by the deposition of SnO2 onto macroporous silicon, using the spray pyrolysis technique. We analyzed the effects of the illumination on the electrical properties of the junction. We suggest a model of two opposite diodes, each one associated with an independent current source. Scanning electronic microscopy were performed in order to confirm the pore filling and the surface coverage after spray pyrolysis process.
