Resumen:
From observations carrried out in the surroundings of the city of Corrientes, Argentina, the first record of a biting midge (unidentified species of Forcipomyia (Lasiohelea)) attacking frogs (Leptodactylus chaquensis Cei and Pseudis paradoxa Gallardo) in the Neotropics is provided.
