Resumen:
The Inca state expansion included vast areas south of Cuzco integrating the current Argentine provinces of La Rioja, San Juan and Mendoza. Our researches are aimed at the archaeological study of the processes of formation of the south-eastern border Collasuyo from studies of areas based on an approach to local communities and Incas landscapes and their transformations in time from a perspective settlement patterns and land use. The project has a double vision, the empire view and its mechanical expansion and on the other side is interested in observing the changes and autonomic responses in local communities.
