This chapter has four objectives. First, it describes entrepreneurs inArgentina: their demographics, schooling, employment conditions, sizeof their firm, income, and intergenerational characteristics. This characterization provides measures of the quantity and quality of entrepreneurs. Second, it describes entrepreneurial values and analyzes the extent to which Argentine society supports those values. Third, it summarizes the main policy obstacles faced by entrepreneurs. Finally, it assesses how public employment policies affect entrepreneurship.
