Resumen:
During last decades, aliphatic polyesters have been used in agricultural, textile and biomedical applications. These materials are used because they have chemical versatility and easily processability, which are the main characteristics that make these materials more competitive than natural polymers. In particular, poly(ε-caprolactone)(PCL) has been used in biomedical applications, particularly because it has been proved its efficiency to produce artificial extracellular matrices, capable for repairing or the regeneration of body tissues. In this work, we studied the production of biocompatible scaffolds of PCL by employing solvent casting/particule leaching technique, using sodium chloride (NaCl) with grain size range between 210-420 μm as porogen.
