Resumen:
This work addresses the scheduling of a petrochemical complex through the formulation of a multiperiod MINLP model that determines the optimum plant shutdown location in the horizon through binary variables. The model includes production, product delivery, inventory management and decisions such as individual production levels for each product, as well as operating conditions for each plant in the complex. Binary variables have been also associated to intermittent delivery equations. The model has been implemented in GAMS. Different scenarios have been considered regarding the shutdown of any plant from the complex and numerical results have been discussed
