Resumen:
This paper addresses dynamic optimization of the cryogenic sector of a large-scale natural gas processingplant through the formulation of rigorous unit dynamic models. The resulting differential-algebraicequation (DAE) optimization problem is solved with an advanced simultaneous strategy that transformsthe original problem into a nonlinear program. Emphasis has been given to detailed thermodynamic andsolubility calculations to ensure feasible conditions along the transient.
