Resumen:
Glandularia J. F. Gmel. (Verbenaceae) is the biggest genus from tribeVerbeneae, with nearly 84 species distributed in temperate North and South America.A complete taxonomic revision of Glandulariain Brazilis provided. Thirty one species and onevariety are present in Brazil,11 of these being endemic,principally in the southern area of the country. Adetailed morphological description is given for each taxon, as well as a keyfor their identification, illustrations, synonymy, distribution, lists ofselected specimens, and discussions about the relationships among closelyrelated taxa. Six new synonyms aresuggested, and two lectotypes aredesignated for Verbena chamaedryfoliaJuss. f. strigosa Chodat and Verbena humifusa Cham.
