The article comments Lorenzo Benadusi´s book on homosexuality during Fascist Italy. It summarizes the book´s main theses and topics, and stresses its merits: it is the first important and well researched piece on homosexuality under fascism. The article closes commenting on the relationship between Benadusi´s theses and the work of scholars such as Emilio Gentile and George Mosse.
