Resumen:
In this paper, we have designed an innovative material that allows the transformation of sunlight into heat energy with high efficiency and it fulfills a dual purpose: to reuse industrial wastes (motor vehicles? windshield and heat systems? ashes) and to contribute to environment care by developing of a new method of "green energy" generation. Nano-composites materials have been synthesized by Ag nano-particles anchored inside of a glassy matrix applying a solid state cell formed by crystalline and amorphous electrolytes. Our materials were characterized by UV-Vis and impedance spectroscopy which helped to clarify the improvements of their electrical properties (conductivity and permittivity) compared to the raw material (row glass windshield). The increase observed in their permittivity results in a significant improvement in the heat transport process (nanoparticle/glassy matrix) which provokes an improvement in the nano-composite material functionality for "energy harvesting" (sunlight). The collected energy is used to increase the temperature of the water that comes into contact with the composite system formed by the nano-particles in the recovered glassy matrix.
