Resumen:
The aim of the study is to provide through the study of amorphous silica biomineralizations tools that contribute to knowledge of the sedimentological and pedological variations in coastal marshes of the Rio de La Plata estuary (Argentina and Uruguay). The samples from all sites were treated by routine techniques for extracting biomineralizations of soils and sediments. Identification and quantification of some samples of Punta Rasa and Isla Martin Garcia sites was made. Currently were continued working with the samples from Santa Lucia and Río Salado.
