Resumen:
Podonomus is one of the richest genera of Podonominae, with 44species described. With wide distribution in South America,Podonomus species are an important component of aquatic ecosystemssuch as streams and madicolous habitats. However, its larvalstages have been historically overlooked, with only six speciesdescribed. After visiting Brundin?s collection, we were able to recoverinformation on larvae of three species mentioned in his monograph. Here we describe the larvae of P. apolobambae and P. setosus, providea broad description of the P. albinervis larva and present an identificationkey to the known larvae of the genus, including the other fivespecies whose larvae are described, P. amarali, P. fastigians, P. pepinellii,P. quito and P. tehuelche.
